It appears that Rocky Roads has grabbed the title sponsor of the UCI but there’s a huge question mark flying over this whole deal. I turn your attention to Mpora’s neighbour, Dirt. As they’re reporting no one really knows who Rocky Roads are and it seems that a fair few people are less than happy about what’s going on. Not only is Rocky Roads an unknown site but it is putting the UCI reputation on the line and they aren’t coming off well.
In the press release from the UCI, Rocky Roads pulls in a whopping 221k unique users A DAY! That works out at over 6.5 million unique users a month. This would put them in the bracket for the top 100 websites in the world and that’s pretty impressive for a website that no one knows about, isn’t it?
What do you lot reckon about it? It’s all kicking off over on the Dirt site right now with comment after comment being posted up on the article with a fair few people leaving something quite disgruntled.
